Overview

The RH6D is the child-size member of the Seed Robotics hand family: 15 degrees of freedom driven by 6 internal smart actuators, sized for humanoids up to 1.2 m tall and for arms where the adult RH8D is too heavy at the wrist.

Specifications

  • 15 DoF driven by 6 internal smart actuators
  • Three-segment fingers with opposable thumb
  • 305 g; 750 g vertical pull payload, 450 g in free 3D space
  • 9-24 V supply; 32-bit ARM Cortex M with a dedicated co-processor per actuator
  • RS-485 UART, Dynamixel Protocol 1.0 and 2.0 compatible, plus USB and optional Bluetooth
  • Open-source ROS package, Python (PyPot) and URDF simulation models
  • Palm time-of-flight distance sensor and real-time per-actuator telemetry
  • Supersedes the earlier RH5D and RH7D models
